Unmounted Stamp (just the rubber part of the stamp
- no wood and no cushion)
The following three background stamps work best with a brayer to get a good coverage on your paper when you stamp. Anytime you have a very detailed stamp the center of the stamp tends to not want to stamp very well because it is hard to get enough pressure right in the center of the stamp. To do this technique ink up your stamp and then turn your stamp with the rubber facing up. Now lay your cardstock on top of the rubber and roll a brayer over the paper. Just roll in one direction so your paper won't shift.
